SOLD!!!!!! 1946 Ercoupe 415-C $9500 SOLD!!!!!!
N87294
SN 467
TTAF: 2668 HRS
Last Annual: 1/19/2012
Airframe: Wings were recovered in 1986 with Stitts poly-fiber process-completed according to STC SA-1008WE. Airframe appears to be in decent condition, some paint chipping from sitting the past couple years. The wing inspection has been performed but since it is out of annual, it will need to be complied with again.
This Ercoupe comes with landing lights on the main wheels which is a rare option and hard to find. The aircraft is equipped with VFR radios and instruments. It has a mount for a handheld gps. The Ercoupe has not had a rudder pedal conversion. It is in pretty original condition, including the paint scheme. She was used as a pleasure aircraft and was flown “on Sunday’s with good weather.”
Powerplant:
Engine: C85-12, original engine
TT: 2668 HRS
SMOH: 254 HRS
According to the engine logbooks, this engine only indicates a time since overhaul of 254 hours. However, this overhaul was completed more than 12 years ago and manufacture recommends an overhaul at 1800 hours or 12 years, whichever comes first. This being said, the engine can still be utilized for the type of service the aircraft is expected to perform under FAA Part 91. As long as the engine is inspected and certified to be in an airworthy condition and continues as such on annual basis. The Ercoupe last flew in 2012 and is believed to run good.
Fuel Capacity: 18 Gallons
This would be an easy, get her up and going project for someone. ESPECIALLY if you can’t get a medical as this aircraft falls under LSA weight requirements. It is believed that this aircraft could be ferried after some work and inspections are accomplished. It is up to your mechanic/IA to assume airworthiness and state of condition before flying.
